PHEW! Told you I'd moan if the weather changed!!!!

by lizzie233 @ 2007-05-18 - 10:01:40

Blimey, I've only been to the vet with P, co-op to get ham so she can take her antibiotics, then pharmacy to pick up scripts, and I'm H.O.T., can't be doing with this humidity it's just no good for the menopausal amongst us, not to mention the overweight .

Anyhow, Patsy improving by the minute and once again enjoyed her outing to the vet and just generally loving the trip in the car etc., wagged vigorously at each dog that entered and unlike most of them she didn't have to be dragged on her belly into the surgery, such a good girl, and I told her so.  So she's getting better, as we knew she was and only one half tablet forgotten, despite the fact I left a note for N to give her meds with tea, he forgot, will have to watch next week when I'm on late shift.  Men...............I ask you!! .  I told P I'm the only one who looks after her, but she knows that already, us gals gotta stick together.

Absolutely knackered today, so not doing a lot, and have Toby later when L goes to work, but hopefully that will be a pleasure not a chore and he'll be in bed by 7.30 latest, good little man.  Work awful, just so pressurey and the ward SO HOT, just about everyone, except the patients (but then they are in nighties and pj's) moaning about the heat and visibly sweating, definitely not a good look, my hair was almost in ringlets Wed eve, phew!  Dreadful staffing but lovely Sarah stepped into breach for today, love her, love her, love her, so the more vulnerable staff will have good leadership, but then no admissions so shouldn't be so bad.  Just couldn't face leaving them with 2 agency, and slept the better for having it sorted.  Not back til Monday now, and can't wait for the phillipinos to return from their hols, really miss them for one, and they work so b* hard we've missed their long days and extras at a moments notice, they need medals for sure.

Oh well, back to the ironing board then out again.  And, please lets have a cool breeze for the weekend, doesn't have to be rain or even grey, thats just depressing, but a cool breeze would be lush.
